At the FIFA eWorld Cup™ the dreams of millions come true for one champion, as the world’s best FIFA player is crowned the FIFA eWorld Cup™ winner.
FIFA Films reached out to us to cover the 2016 FIFA Interactive World Cup in Manhattan, New York. Touted as the biggest tournament ever, the FIFA Interactive World Cup had over 2.3 million entrants from all around the world competing in FIFA 2016 on the Playstation 4 and Xbox One.
The finals in New York featured the 32 best players facing off against each other over the course of three days, leading up to the final faceoff at the historic Apollo Theater. This was our first foray into covering Esports, a subject that offers all the drama and characters needed to create a riveting short documentary that captures the spirit of the event.
