Project Overview

Corporate Testimonial

Optimum Nutrition has been a client for over five years. During that time we have produced several campaigns for them, a couple of which were the primary marketing pieces for their flagship product, 100% Gold Standard Whey. These videos each feature Optimum’s top sponsored athletes, Steve Cook and Nick Cheadle. Both videos, filmed four years apart, convey a message of trust and quality that is central to Optimum’s brand image, and has made them the undisputed leader in the sports nutrition industry. The athletes were filmed working out in various locations, including gyms that were entirely customized by Northwoods Revolution. To accomplish this, we partnered with different vendors, from equipment manufacturers to real estate agents, in order to perfectly dial-in a look that was on-brand for our client.

Additionally, we brought in our trusted freelance L&G teams to help shape the lighting and aesthetic. In addition to the athletes working out and endorsing the product to the camera, we went behind the scenes of Optimum’s manufacturing process, showcasing their new factory with elegant, cinematic shots to set it apart from your standard industrial video. The two videos have collectively garnered millions of organic views on Optimum’s YouTube channel.

We have produced content for Optimum across the whole country. One year we even constructed a custom gym on the Brooklyn Pier in New York to promote one of their new products, Whey Isolate, which involved some intense cross training with Manhattan in the background.
